Avondale Grammar School (AGS) is a co-educational, international school located in Tanglin. AGS offers classes from preschool to year 7 based on the Australian curriculum.
History
Since 2007 its enrollment grew to over 100 students. Today the school enrollment nears 500 students and around 60 academic staff. The student body comprises over 20 nationalities, with 61% coming from Australia and New Zealand.
The school's Phoenix Park campus is located on Tanglin Road. The school relocated from its former Toa Payoh campus in December 2009. The new Phoenix Park campus includes a purpose-built football field.
To compliment the curriculum, specialist areas are catered for with music, art, cooking and physical education. Avondale Grammar School was the first in Singapore to offer daily Mandarin and French language lessons.citation needed
